As most of you might know I'm now running poker tournaments for 888 poker.
Most of you wouldn't know what being a TC entails, so I thought I would let you know what a typical night consisted of.
5.30pm
Arrive at venue. Hopefully all the tables are set up, so start setting up cards and chips on the tables.

6.30pm
People start arriving to register. This part of the night gets really hectic and takes a lot of time.

7.30pm
This is when the serious business starts. I do my welcome spiel amd thank the venue for having us there.The last thing I say is "Shuffle up and Deal", this starts the playing.

About 10pm when we get down to the final 10, we start the final table. This is the ONLY table that I deal on. The players keep eliminating each other until it comes down to the final person remaining.

So there we go, a typical night at poker......sounds like fun?? look up a venue near you. Only available in SA, Vic and NSW for the time being, heading to the other states asap

    T.C stands for Tournament Captain. Which means we run the whole show. If someone disputes us, then we have the authority to send them to the bar/ outside for a number of minutes.
    The way the full house group (who runs 888 poker) look at it, they want to promote poker as a sport, something you can play for points and have fun at the same time. I mean at the Final Table its usually at least 2 deep of ppl, who are watching and cheering for their favourite player.
